D-96 2019 Season Qualifier Tournament

We had 26 anglers fishing this Divisional 1-day qualifier tournament at Clark Hill. There were 87 fish brought to the scales that weighed a total for 176.55 lbs.
The day started out with overcast skies, 43 degrees with a 5 mph NE wind, and misting rain. Clark Hill's water was stained with temperatures averaging 51-56 degrees depending on where you were on the lake.

First place, Wayman Coleman had a (5) fish limit of 17.67 lbs. anchored by a 5.70lbs kicker. Congrats! The payback for first place and first place option earned Wayman $795, along with the First place trophy. Wayman caught his fish in and around the mid-lake areas, on rocks with a small crank bait and a jig. Second place, Andy Lake had a (5) fish limit weighing 15.55 lbs, anchored with the tournament's Big Fish which was a 6.21 lbs hump back beauty. The payback for second place and second place option earned Andy $485 to go along with the Second place and Big Fish trophies. Andy caught his fish on a jig and spinner bait. Third place, Burt Pierce had a (5) fish limit weighing 11.21 lbs. The pay back for third place was $140 and the third place trophy. Fourth Place, Don Kneece had a (5) fish limit weighing 10.06 lbs. The pay back for fourth place was $110 and a $50 discount coupon that can be used towards the online purchase of any Level Performance Rod!
The next D-96 tournament for the 2019 season is a Divisional 1-Day Qualifier on Lake Russell, March 17th 2019, launching from the Hwy 72 ramp at safe light with weigh-in at 3:00.
