Chris Lind of Anderson, SC - 2nd Place and Big Fish winner
Nine anglers showed up to compete on a harsh weather day to say the least. The morning started out with the temp around 34 degrees, sideways rain and 20mph winds. Once launch began it started snowing making it more miserable. The weather finally let up around 11am making it a little more comfortable. As usual, despite the weather someone always figures out how to catch them. Kevin Fulmer of Prosperity, SC took the win with a 5 fish limit weighing 13.24lbs worth $313.00. Chris Lind finished in 2nd Place with a limit weighing in at 12.64lb worth $128.00. Chris also won the Big Fish Pot with a 4.18 lb kicker fish worth $35 plus 1st Place in the Option Pot worth $42 for total winnings of $205.00. Todd Pearson of Anderson, SC came in 3rd Place with a limit weighing 11.22lbs. Todd finished second in the Option Pot worth $28. I would like to say a big “Thank You” to the guys that came out to fish in such horrible weather. I guess a day of Fishing is better than a day of work no matter the weather.
