Steve Story wins on Clarks Hill Lake
Nineteen anglers participated in the D25 April tournament on Clarks Hill Lake. The weather started out with the temperature around 55 degrees and was in the low 80’s by weigh in time. The water temps were ranging anywhere from 66 -70 degrees. The main lake was clear with the creeks having some slightly stained water. Steve Story of Appling, GA took the win with a 5 fish limit weighing 15.44lbs. worth $522 + 1st Place option pot of $108 for a total of $610. Brian Epps of Abbeville, SC finished in 2nd Place with a limit weighing 15.19lbs worth $308 + 2nd Place option pot of $72 + Big Fish of the tournament worth another $90 for a total of $470. Donald Miller of Thomson, GA finished in third with a limit weighing 13.90lbs worth $101. Most everyone caught some fish fishing the blueback herring spawning areas and a few were caught off beds. D25’s Two-Day divisional championship will be on Lake Hartwell May 14th-15th, 2016 launching out of the Green Pond boat ramp. Hope to see everyone at the ramp!
